The Houston Brass Band would like to thank everyone at Foden’s Brass Band and Tameside and Saddleworth organizing committees for staging this year’s online Whit Friday.
HBB is delighted to have placed third in the first section of the Whit Friday Championships. Not only did we achieve this fantastic result, but the band also ranked 16th out of the 119 bands who took part in the competition.
Moving the Band forward during the COVID-19 restrictions has been an extremely challenging time. We could not have achieved our success without the dedicated work of the Concert Committee. In particular, HBB would like to recognize Mike Wertz (Cornet / Sound and Video editor), Ryan Rongone (Trombone / Interim Online Music Director), and Leo Hernandez (Cornet / Treasurer) for their work on this project.
